How to make an extra $600

How to make an extra $600

One of the greatest testaments to the overabundance in the U.S. is the glorious institution of the storage unit.  People actually paying someone to shelter the stuff they haven’t used in 10 years.  Trust me; we are one of the few countries in the world that has this dubious industry.  The irony is, we also have bigger homes than most of the rest of the world, yet we run out of space…

I did some math (it was hard).  If you got motivated, cleaned out the storage unit and got rid of everything you don’t need, you could stop paying that monthly fee.  At $50 per month, over the course of a year that is $600 you could send to the mission field.  You’ve been wanting to be more generous right?  Well here’s a way to free up some cash.

Once this crummy weather passes it’ll be spring cleaning time.  Even if you don’t have a storage unit, why not make an effort to really simplify your life this year by getting rid of all that clutter you’ll never use.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:19
