The One That Cheated On Me

The One That Cheated On Me

I had a cute little Ecuadorian girlfriend in college.  We dated for about one month before she decided to have a make-out session with my friend after a concert.

Even though it takes two to tango, I’m still friends with the dude she kissed.  He confessed and apologized straight away.  I don’t even think water boarding would have worked on her had he not admitted it.

It’s amazing what a simple confession and apology will do.  I would have forgiven him either way, but him admitting he was wrong made it way easier.

I’m not sure why we have such a hard time apologizing even when we and everyone else knows we are wrong.  I’ve realized  most people are really patient if you’ll just confess.  We all make mistakes, so we understand.   What really gets people mad is failing to admit you flubbed.

If you mess up – admit it and begin to walk in the grace that God offers to those who will confess they don’t have it all together.

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  (James 5:16)
