It’s Too Bright Here

It’s Too Bright Here

One of the guys I hiked the Inca Trail with shot this picture of the stars on the first night of the trip.  No photoshop here baby, that’s the real deal.

All those stars are there all the time.  But I can hardly ever see them because it takes some serious darkness for them to be visible.  Only when it gets dark enough can we really see the spectacular display of what God made up there.

I’ve found that in life the times I see the most incredible display of God’s glory is when things get really, really dark.  He’s always at work, but I see it best in the darkness.

I still prefer the light, happy times.  But when darkness descends I have to remind myself to look up – God’s hand is about to be revealed.
