We’re All Doomed

We’re All Doomed

I can’t watch the news anymore. Everyone is shouting. Everyone is angry. Everyone one is blaming.

People are killing kindergarteners. Around the world children are under attack.

Our leaders are immoral. The people who should be leading don’t want to, and the ambitious, greedy people are the ones in charge.

The world is falling apart and all people want to do is watch The Voice.

Add to it the challenges I’m facing and all I can do is throw up my hands and say, “We are all doomed. Doomed.”

And then this anthem rings through my speakers on the Pandora Christmas station.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. (Revelation 11:15 15)
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ: and He shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 19:16)
KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS.

Thank you Mr. Handel. I needed that reminder from the Bible.

I had forgotten for a moment. The exact opposite of what I’ve been pondering is actually the truth.

We are not doomed. No. There is much hope here at Christmas.

Jesus. Our only hope.
