It All Came Clear in the Vineyard

It All Came Clear in the Vineyard

For the past few days I’ve been in California shooting promotional videos for Vision Map. We are also creating some videos with supplemental material to help people who want to start something. It’s been fun and I can’t wait to see the final product.

One of the videos is about building a team to help you pursue your dream.

I was walking around in a vineyard trying to memorize my little four-minute script today while my friend Brandon was getting the cameras ready to shoot the videos. I thought about how amazing all of this is.

Brandon is a pro. Like a real pro. Hundreds of millions of people have seen his video work. And this dude is shooting my video.

I just met Brandon two months ago. We became instant friends. Just before I met him I had been asking God for creative ideas to help share the message of Vision Map. Video seemed the most powerful way.

He sent Brandon. I didn’t make the connection until today while I was talking to a camera about how God will send people who have gifts and skills you need to bring the dream he put in your heart to pass.

Being a visionary can feel awfully lonely at times. Whether it’s starting a new organization or deciding to set a new standard in your family and break from the past – it can feel like you are all by yourself.

Today I was reminded I’m not alone. Neither are you.

God has your back and he has an extraordinary way of bringing the right people into your life at just the right time. Don’t get discouraged if you are feeling all alone going after your vision. You are not alone. God is working behind the scenes and at just the right time he’ll bring the right people into your path. They might even turn into a really good friend like my buddy Brandon.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Ecc 4:9-10
